AI Summary

This bill mandates that starting in the 2026-2027 school year, all public elementary and high schools must incorporate the study of Latin Americans' contributions to the economic, cultural, social, and political development of the United States into their curriculum, including the Latine experience, Latin American history, and the effects of colonialism. The State Superintendent of Education will provide instructional materials and professional development opportunities as guidelines, though local school boards will determine the specific instructional time.
