This bill requires the Commission on Civic Education to develop and maintain a website that includes a database of civic education resources, lesson plans, and best practices, a bulletin board for discussion, an events calendar, and links to civic education research, replacing the previous requirement for an electronic clearinghouse accessible on the Department of Education's website. The Commission, established to promote civic education and understanding of government, will now host these resources directly on its own platform, making them more readily available to the public.
