This bill appropriates $10,000,000 from the State General Fund to the Scenic Rivers Development Alliance for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2026, and ending June 30, 2027, to fund specific projects. These projects include site and facility development at the Okhissa Lake Lodge and Conference Center in Franklin County, as well as various site development, equipment acquisition, repairs and improvements to parking, roads, and buildings, river/lake access, erosion control, utility upgrades, trail improvements, and other facility-related upgrades across Franklin, Walthall, Pike, Amite, and Wilkinson Counties. The funds will be disbursed by the State Treasurer upon warrants issued by the State Fiscal Officer, and the act will take effect on July 1, 2026.
