Bill Summary
This bill proposes to allow the holder of a fourth-class license to serve customers larger total volumes of alcoholic beverages at a tasting room or retail shop operated by the licensee. This bill also proposes to allow manufacturers of vinous beverages to operate not more than two first-class licensed establishments that are located at the licensed manufacturing facility or on property that is owned by the licensee and contiguous with the parcel of land on which the licensed manufacturing facility is located.
AI Summary
This bill allows holders of a fourth-class license, which permits the sale of alcoholic beverages manufactured by the licensee, to serve larger total volumes of certain drinks to customers at tasting rooms and retail shops, specifically increasing the aggregate limits for malt beverages or hard cider to 16 ounces, vinous beverages or ready-to-drink spirits beverages to 12 ounces, and spirits or fortified wine to two ounces. Additionally, it permits manufacturers of vinous beverages, which are alcoholic drinks made from grapes or other fruit, to operate up to two additional licensed establishments, referred to as first-class licenses, located at their manufacturing facility or on adjacent property they own, expanding on existing provisions that already allowed this for malt beverage manufacturers.
