This joint resolution honors the memory of James "Jim" Cantrell of Harrison, a compassionate and faithful man who dedicated his life to improving his community. A proud U.S. Marine veteran, Mr. Cantrell worked with heavy equipment for twenty-four years and then with his son as a rollback and recovery specialist for twenty-eight years. He was also a lifetime member of the Harrison Lodge and a devoted member of Maple Grove Baptist Church, deeply committed to his family and their values. The resolution expresses sympathy to his surviving wife, Jessie, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family and friends, acknowledging his indelible legacy of integrity, compassion, and diligence.
