This bill modifies disciplinary actions for emergency medical services in Oklahoma by updating statutory references and expanding the authority of the State Commissioner of Health to impose disciplinary measures beyond just revoking or suspending licenses. The Commissioner can now also order probation, require free public or charity service, mandate completion of educational or training programs, and levy administrative fines and penalties, all in accordance with the severity of the violation and the Administrative Procedures Act. The bill also clarifies that violations of the Oklahoma Emergency Response Systems Development Act can result in civil penalties of up to $100 per day and that operating an ambulance service in violation is considered a public nuisance subject to injunction. This act will become effective on November 1, 2026.
