AI Summary

This bill requires all school boards to participate in the SAT School Day program, which allows high school students to take the SAT exam during regular school hours at their enrolled high school, or a similar program offered by the College Board. Specifically, each school board must offer every high school junior the chance to take the SAT at least once during their junior or senior year, either in the fall or spring testing window, at their public high school, though participation is not mandatory for students. The bill also includes provisions for fee reductions for certain students taking the test and mandates that school boards report annual data on student participation, broken down by various demographic groups, to the Department of Education, which will then compile and report this aggregated data to the General Assembly by December 1st each year.
