This resolution recognizes and commends Chesley McNeil for his outstanding public service and community involvement in Georgia. It highlights his significant contributions as a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated, a historically Black fraternity, where he has received the "Omega Man of the Year" award for his leadership at various levels and his dedication to community uplift programs. The resolution also acknowledges his roles as an adjunct professor at Kennesaw State University, chairman of the 2nd Century Invictus Fund which established a scholarship endowment, a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist at Atlanta's 11-Alive, and his service as a deacon and Bible study teacher at Historic Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The Senate intends to provide him with a copy of this resolution to honor his excellent, efficient, unselfish, and dedicated service.
