Bill Summary
This bill directs the state board of regents to conduct a study regarding the feasibility of reintroducing VEISHEA at Iowa state university. The objectives of the study are to determine whether it is practical and beneficial to reinstate VEISHEA. The state board shall submit its findings and recommendations in a report to the chairperson of the house committee on higher education and the chairperson of the senate committee on education prior to the November 2026 meeting of the state board. The bill takes effect upon enactment.
