Bill Summary
This bill requires the state board of regents to direct each regents institution to adopt a policy prohibiting land acknowledgments by the institution or any department or other unit of the institution. The bill does not apply to discussion in a classroom or research setting or statements made by a person not speaking in an official capacity on behalf of the institution or any department or other unit of the institution.
