This bill requires vapor product manufacturers to disclose the ingredients in consumable vapor products distributed, sold, or offered for sale in Georgia, starting by January 1, 2027, and annually thereafter. "Consumable vapor products" refers to products intended for use in vaporizing devices, and "ingredients" include all constituents, intentional additives, and chemicals of concern present in the product, with specific thresholds for disclosure. A "chemical of concern" is defined as any chemical or class of chemicals identified by the commissioner as harmful to human health or the environment, such as allergens, carcinogens, or endocrine disruptors. Manufacturers must submit a list of ingredients in descending order of weight, a statement on their health investigations, and a list of any chemicals of concern along with an evaluation of potential alternatives. This ingredient information must also be posted on the manufacturer's website in a publicly accessible and machine-readable format, updated as needed. While proprietary processes or ingredients may be exempt at the commissioner's discretion, violations of these disclosure requirements will be treated as a misdemeanor and could lead to the probation, suspension, or revocation of the manufacturer's licenses.
