AI Summary
This bill, by amending existing law and repealing another section, directs the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA), the state agency responsible for regulating medical marijuana, to limit the total number of commercial grower licenses it can issue to two thousand five hundred fifty (2,550) starting November 1, 2026, and prohibits the OMMA from approving, issuing, renewing, or transferring any license if doing so would exceed this cap, though this restriction does not override any current or future moratoriums on new licenses. Additionally, the bill repeals a section of the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act and sets an effective date of November 1, 2026, for these changes.
