This resolution, passed by the General Assembly of Georgia, formally dedicates the interchange where State Route 401 (also known as Interstate 75) and State Route 37 meet in Cook County as the "John L. Williams Memorial Interchange" to honor his significant contributions and leadership within the state and his community. The resolution acknowledges Mr. Williams' deep commitment to the welfare of Georgia's citizens, his tireless efforts as an entrepreneur in Cook County, and his respected qualities of vision, diplomacy, integrity, and kindness. To implement this dedication, the Department of Transportation is instructed to install and maintain appropriate signage, and the Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to provide copies of the resolution to Mr. Williams' family and the Department of Transportation.
