This bill allows holders of a limited brewery license, who produce no more than 300,000 barrels of beer annually, to sell their brewed malt alcoholic beverages at retail in original packages and draft beer by the glass at up to 15 separate salesrooms located away from the main brewery premises, with a fee of $250 for each salesroom. These salesrooms can allow for consumption on or off the premises, and for sampling on the premises, and the breweries can deliver their beer to these salesrooms using their own vehicles. The bill also explicitly prohibits licensees from jointly controlling and operating these salesrooms, and it mirrors a similar privilege previously granted only to wineries producing 250,000 gallons or less per year.
