The report would be available as a public record and posted on the website of the State Ethics Commission.

AI Summary

This bill requires the Governor to publicly disclose how they spend allowance funds that are not otherwise appropriated, which are typically used for official receptions, maintaining the official residence, or similar expenses. By July 15th each year, the Governor must submit a written report to the State Ethics Commission detailing these expenditures from the previous state fiscal year. This report must include copies of receipts for any purchase exceeding a minimal amount, along with the name and address of the recipient and a brief description of the item or service. The State Ethics Commission will then make this report a public record and post it on their website, increasing transparency around these funds.
