Under the provisions of this bill, the holder of a plenary retail consumption license or a seasonal retail consumption license is required to offer for sale to customers beverage lids at a cost not to exceed a reasonable amount based on the wholesale cost of the beverage lids. The bill also provides that certain penalties set forth under current law do not apply to a violation of the bill's provisions. Finally, the provisions of this bill will expire on the first day of the thirtieth month after enactment.
