This new approach aims to ensure that funding better reflects current and future service demands by considering recent caseload trends, projected growth, active caseload volume, hours worked by agency staff, and operational challenges faced by community services agencies. The work group is required to present its findings and recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly by November 1, 2026.
