AI Summary
This bill, effective January 1, 2027, amends charitable gaming laws to allow certain organizations to use a predetermined percentage of their adjusted gross receipts for charitable purposes, with a cap of 10 percent. "Charitable gaming adjusted gross receipts" are defined as the total money earned from charitable games (excluding electronic games) minus the prize money paid out. Similarly, for electronic gaming, organizations can use up to 10 percent of their "electronic gaming adjusted gross receipts," which are defined as gross receipts from electronic games minus prize money and any portion retained by the electronic gaming manufacturer. This change provides organizations with more flexibility in how they allocate funds generated from charitable gaming activities.
