The bill also requires each school board to implement policies aligned with this guidance and establishes an AI Innovation in Education Pilot Program, funded by appropriations, to support and evaluate innovative AI uses in schools, with a reporting requirement to legislative committees on the program's progress and recommendations for future AI use in public education.
