The displayed Ten Commandments must be legible from anywhere in the classroom, be at least 16 inches wide and 20 inches tall, and contain only the specific text of the Ten Commandments as provided in the bill, without any additional content. Schools are required to accept privately donated posters or framed copies that meet these requirements if they do not already have them, and they may use public funds or private donations to replace existing displays that do not meet the standards. Any surplus posters or framed copies not needed for display must be offered as donations to other public schools.
