Licensed professionals remain ultimately responsible for all AI-assisted interactions and data usage, and violations can result in disciplinary actions, including fines up to $10,000 per violation, with the Attorney General also empowered to investigate and levy fines against entities offering AI-driven therapy services without proper licensing. The bill also declares an emergency, meaning it will take effect immediately upon passage and approval.
