This bill requires the Department of Human Services to regularly provide specific, anonymized data to "resource family partners," which are private agencies contracted to support foster homes. This data, to be provided monthly, will help these partners improve outcomes for children and parents in foster care and identify systemic needs. The information will include daily counts of children without placement, demographic and geographic details about foster parents and children, areas with high placement needs but low availability, locations experiencing frequent placement disruptions, the number of sibling groups separated across different placements, the number of foster children placed far from their home communities, and any other relevant evaluation data the Department maintains on the foster care system. This act is set to become effective on November 1, 2026.
