This means that athletic associations, clubs, or leagues will be prohibited from refusing to accept physical examination forms for student athletes that are signed by a CRNP, CNM, or PA, provided these professionals are acting within their scope of practice and under appropriate supervision or collaborative agreements as defined by the respective boards. The bill also mandates that the Board of Nursing and the State Board of Medical Examiners update their protocols and forms by July 1, 2026, to include these physicals as an allowable standard skill for these healthcare providers.
