This bill, titled "Unlawful exposure; minors; drag show," proposes to add a new section to Arizona law that would make it a Class 4 felony for a person to intentionally allow a minor (someone under 18 years old) to view an "adult oriented performance," or to allow a minor to enter or remain in a place where such a performance is happening, or to perform or allow someone under their control to perform in view of a minor. An "adult oriented performance" is defined as an in-person show or performance that, when considered as a whole, appeals to a prurient interest in sex and depicts or simulates specific sexual activities or the lewd exposure of specific anatomical areas. This legislation aims to regulate performances deemed sexually explicit from being viewed by minors.
