This bill requires public schools in Arizona to obtain written permission from a parent or guardian before allowing any student in grades six through eight to join or participate in a school-affiliated club or organization, which is defined as any athletic team, association, order, society, corps, cooperative, club, or similar group whose membership is primarily students from that school, including activities already described in section 15-102, subsection A, paragraph 7. When requesting this permission, schools must provide a description of the club or organization's purpose, activities, and supporters.
