AI Summary

This bill, known as the Professionals' Freedom of Expression Act, aims to protect professionals and businesses from adverse actions by governmental entities or private licensing organizations solely because of their beliefs or the lawful expression of those beliefs in contexts unrelated to their profession. It specifically amends existing laws related to real estate brokers and salespersons to include these protections, preventing the denial, revocation, or suspension of licenses, or any other form of penalty or discrimination, based on personal beliefs that do not impact their professional duties. The act also grants individuals who are harmed by such violations a legal avenue to seek damages, attorney fees, and other relief.
