These programs can include self-exclusion lists, setting limits on time or money spent gambling, or deposit restrictions, whether offered by the betting company itself or by the state. The bill also clarifies that this applies to any responsible gaming programs mandated by the "Casino Control Act," a New Jersey law governing casino operations, or established through state regulations. Any sports wagering licensee or operator found to be violating this rule will face a minimum fine of $500 for each offense, and the relevant state division, working with the commission, will create the necessary rules and regulations to implement this law, which will take effect immediately.
