This resolution, a formal expression from the House of Representatives, conveys deep sadness and condolences upon the death of the Honorable Thomas E. Hodge. Mr. Hodge, a lifelong resident of Pawtucket, was a dedicated public servant who served for twenty-nine years on the Pawtucket City Council and one term as a State Representative. He was also actively involved in his community, holding leadership positions with the Pawtucket Arts Council, the ARC of Blackstone Valley, the Pawtucket Water Board, and as the city's homeless liaison. Additionally, he owned and operated Tom Tux for over thirty years, was honored as Grand Marshall of the Pawtucket Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, and received several awards for his volunteerism and service. The resolution directs that a certified copy be sent to his family, including his wife Jeanne Hodge.
