This bill grants all public employees in Oklahoma the right to organize, join, or assist employee organizations, and to collectively bargain with their employers over wages, hours, and other employment conditions, meaning they can negotiate as a group for better terms and conditions of work. This right also includes engaging in activities for mutual aid or protection, and employees are protected from employer interference. Importantly, employees also have the right to choose not to participate in these activities. The bill will become effective on November 1, 2026.
