This bill prohibits public schools in Arizona from allowing abortion providers, or any medical facility or organization that refers patients to an abortion clinic, to provide health education instruction, programs, or curricula within the school, or to distribute or display any health education materials that are created, paid for, or donated by such entities, or that bear their identifying marks. An "abortion provider" is defined broadly to include abortion clinics, entities that control or are controlled by abortion clinics, entities with franchising or licensing agreements with abortion clinics, and individuals acting as representatives of these entities. Furthermore, if a school is found to be non-compliant with these provisions and fails to correct the issue within ninety days of receiving notice from the Department of Education, the Superintendent of Public Instruction is authorized to withhold state aid from that school until compliance is achieved.
