This mechanism must immediately stop recurring charges, be as easy to use as the method the consumer used to agree to the contract's automatic renewal features, and be accessible through the same online or other medium the consumer used to sign up. The bill aims to make it easier for consumers to cancel subscriptions and services they no longer want, preventing unwanted charges.
