This bill amends Alaska Statute 29.45.110 to limit property tax assessment increases, stating that an assessor cannot raise the assessed value of real property by more than five percent compared to the previous year's assessment, unless that increase is due to new improvements made to the property or because the assessor has obtained new information about the property that was not available during the prior assessment.
