Unless a business owner chooses to opt out, this information will also be transmitted to the Business Development and Support Division of the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism, which aims to help small businesses connect with local resources and grow. The bill amends existing Hawaii Revised Statutes related to business registration to implement these changes, with an effective date of July 1, 3000.
