This bill amends existing law to increase the number of members on the Board of Directors of the Hawaii Public Housing Authority from eleven to twelve by adding the Executive Director of the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation as a voting member, or their designated representative, alongside the Director of Human Services and a representative from the governor's office, who are also ex officio, or non-voting, members. The bill also specifies that the Executive Director of the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation, along with the Director of Human Services and the governor's representative, are ineligible to serve as chairperson of the board, and increases the number of members required for a quorum from six to seven.
