The SFA is required to report to the Legislature on the progress of this pilot program, with an interim report in 2027 and a final report in 2028 evaluating its effectiveness and recommending future actions. Additionally, $3 million is appropriated from the state's general revenues to fund the development and administration of the pilot program's requests for proposals.
