This bill requires drivers approaching any stationary vehicle on the roadway, shoulder, or roadside, whether it's an emergency vehicle or a regular vehicle with hazard lights or other warning signals activated, to slow down and, if safe and possible, change lanes to create space. Additionally, it prohibits operating a pickup truck with passengers in the bed or load-carrying area on roads with speed limits of 46 mph or higher or roads with three or more lanes in the same direction, with specific exemptions for agricultural workers, emergency services, and military vehicles, and raises the minimum age for riding in the bed of a pickup truck from twelve to eighteen years old.
