AI Summary
This bill requires that agreements for purchasing, leasing, or entering into power purchase agreements for residential solar energy devices must include a cover page with specific disclosures, such as the right to cancel within three business days without penalty, contact information for cancellation, and confirmation of representations made. It also mandates that companies marketing, selling, or soliciting these devices or agreements must adhere to consumer protection laws, and prohibits anyone from installing, marketing, offering financing, or acquiring customers for residential solar energy devices without a contractor's license or a contractual relationship with a licensed contractor. Importantly, agreements that violate these provisions are voidable by the consumer, and the bill defines terms like "host customer" and "power purchase agreement" to clarify its scope.
