The bill defines a "boycott of Israel" as actions intended to harm or limit business with Israel or Israeli companies, and a "company" as a business entity with at least 10 employees that aims to profit, excluding sole proprietorships. It reiterates that starting July 1, 2022, government entities cannot enter into contracts worth $100,000 or more unless the company certifies it is not boycotting Israel and will not do so during the contract's term, with any contract violating this rule being void. The amendments made during the 2026 legislative session will take effect on their specified dates.
