AI Summary

This bill mandates that all new, renewed, or duplicate driver's licenses, temporary driving permits, or commercial driver's licenses issued in Mississippi must indicate the individual's sex as determined at birth, and any court order to the contrary will be disregarded for licensing purposes. Furthermore, it declares that any driver's license or permit issued by another state exclusively to individuals unable to prove lawful presence in the United States, or those with licenses that do not confirm lawful presence, will be considered invalid in Mississippi and will not authorize driving. If a law enforcement officer stops someone with such an invalid license, they must issue a citation for driving without a license and refer the individual to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE), and similarly, court officials or licensing employees encountering such invalid licenses must also refer the individuals to ICE.
