This bill requires an employer or its insurance provider to retroactively pay a worker compensation benefits, as if the worker was temporarily totally disabled, for the period between when they reached maximum medical improvement (the point where further healing is not expected, though ongoing care may be needed) and when they began receiving vocational rehabilitation services, provided the worker did not receive such compensation during that gap and the retroactive payment is not for more than 60 days.
