While a landlord's failure to provide this flood insurance notice will not invalidate the rental agreement, the bill clarifies that landlords can assist tenants in obtaining translations of this notice without incurring liability for inaccuracies. These changes will apply to rental agreements entered into, extended, or renewed on or after July 1, 2026.
