This resolution, passed by the Senate of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, expresses profound sympathy and adjourns in honor and loving memory of Val A. "Bud" Lederer, a dedicated individual who served six years in the United States Navy, spent 65 years with the Alexandria Fire Department where he rose to the rank of Fire Chief, and was a significant leader within the Kentucky Firefighters Association for 22 years, also serving as its first Director for the Northern Kentucky Region. The resolution acknowledges his commitment to his family, including his late wife Wanda, his daughter Robbin, and his grandchildren, and directs the Clerk of the Senate to send a copy of this resolution to Senator Shelley Funke Frommeyer for delivery to the family.
