This bill extends the repeal date for provisions of Mississippi law related to the Mississippi Youth Court Information Delivery System (MYCIDS), a program used to track youth offenders and children in need of court services, from July 1, 2026, to July 1, 2027, and requires a revision of the MYCIDS program. Specifically, it mandates the Administrative Director of Courts to implement a revised and updated MYCIDS system by July 1, 2029, based on recommendations from audits conducted in 2024 and 2025, and to provide annual progress reports to legislative committees.
