This resolution grants the Missouri Youth Leadership Forum for Students with Disabilities permission to use the House Chamber, the main meeting room of the Missouri House of Representatives, on July 16, 2026, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. to hold a mock legislative session. The Missouri Youth Leadership Forum, overseen by the Missouri Governor's Council on Disability, is a unique career leadership training program for high school juniors and seniors with disabilities, and it is the only such program in Missouri designed specifically for these students to develop leadership, citizenship, social, and career skills. The resolution also specifies that Representative Raychel Proudie, or her designee, will be present and responsible for the group's conduct, and outlines rules for participants to maintain the dignity and decorum of the House Chamber, including restrictions on food, drinks, smoking, access to certain areas, and the use of equipment.
