Naltrexone is a medication that can help reduce cravings for opioids and alcohol. If a person chooses this naltrexone option, the court will include reporting requirements for the injections as part of their probation, and failing to receive the injections can lead to probation being revoked. This change aims to provide an alternative treatment approach for certain DUI offenders.
