This bill expands this ability for Medicaid regulations, allowing them to incorporate by reference Medicare fee schedules and later amendments to Medicaid reimbursement methods, as well as any later additions or amendments to federal rules and regulations necessary for administering the Missouri Medicaid program. This aims to ensure that Medicaid regulations can stay current with federal requirements and financial structures without the need for extensive republication of every change.
