AI Summary

This bill allows the Department of Land and Natural Resources to work with private entities, such as hotels and environmental groups, to help maintain and manage sunscreen dispensers at all state beaches, and to promote the fact that the mineral-based sunscreen provided is better for the state's coral reefs. The bill also appropriates funds for the installation, upkeep, and operation of these non-chemical sunscreen dispensers on all state beaches, building on previous legislation that banned certain chemical sunscreens like oxybenzone and octinoxate due to their harmful effects on coral reefs, and aims to address concerns about the availability of reef-safe sunscreen options for the public.
