To support these expanded responsibilities, the bill requires that election commissioners be provided with office space, computers, printers, storage equipment, copy machines, scanners, and adequate storage for election materials and voting machines. The bill also clarifies that if county boards of supervisors or municipal governing authorities assume the duties of election commissioners, they must also adhere to these new knowledge and skill requirements.
