AI Summary

This bill, known as the "In-Person Early Voting Act," establishes a new period for voters to cast their ballots in person before election day, starting 15 days prior to any primary, general, runoff, special, or municipal election and concluding at noon on the Saturday before the election. During this early voting period, voters must cast their ballots at the registrar's office where they are registered, with regular business hours observed, and extended hours during the final full week before an election, including the two Saturdays prior. The bill also mandates public notice of early voting hours at least eight days in advance and outlines procedures for casting ballots, challenging voter qualifications, and prohibits ballot harvesting and the use of unsupervised ballot drop boxes, while ensuring that all early votes are final and tabulated only after polls close on election day.
