Bill Summary
This bill requires Iowa state university and the university of northern Iowa to each submit a report to the general assembly by July 30, 2026, on the feasibility of establishing men’s baseball and women’s wrestling programs at their respective institutions. The bill also requires southwestern community college to submit a report to the general assembly by July 30, 2026, on the feasibility of establishing a men’s wrestling program. The bill takes effect upon enactment.
